This website sets no analytics, advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and no third-party tracking of any kind. There is nothing to opt into or out of. The rest of this page explains the few strictly-necessary items a browser may store to keep the site secure and working.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so it can be read back on a later request. “Similar technologies” includes local storage, session storage and pixels. The law that matters here (the EU/UK ePrivacy rules, and the consent principles in the GDPR and India's DPDP Act) treats reading or writing anything on your device as needing your consent — unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.
2. What this site uses
By design, this site is built to need almost nothing:
- No analytics cookies. Our analytics (see section 4) are cookieless.
- No advertising or social-media cookies. We run no ads and embed no tracking widgets. The social links in the footer are plain links; they load nothing until you click them.
- No preference cookies. The site does not remember settings between visits, because it has none to remember.
- No local or session storage. The site does not write to browser local storage or session storage at all.
3. Strictly-necessary cookies
The contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile to tell human visitors from bots. Turnstile may set the strictly-necessary cookies below. They are exempt from consent because the contact form cannot be protected from abuse without them; they carry no advertising value and are not shared for anyone's marketing. If the site is also served through Cloudflare's network, the same cookies may be set on other pages.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes automated traffic from human traffic to protect the contact form | About 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Set only if you are shown and pass a security challenge; records that you passed it, so you are not challenged repeatedly | Up to 1 year |
If you never open the contact page and the site is not proxied through Cloudflare, no cookies are set at all.
4. Analytics — and why there is no cookie for it
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It measures page views, referrers, countries, browsers and page-load speed in aggregate. It does this without any cookie, without storing your IP address, and without a persistent identifier, so it cannot follow you between sites or sessions. Under the ePrivacy rules this kind of measurement does not require consent, because nothing is stored on or read from your device.
If we ever switch to analytics that do use cookies or identifiers (for example Google Analytics), we will change this page and add a consent banner that blocks those tools until you agree.
5. Why there is no consent banner
Consent banners exist to get your permission before non-essential cookies or device access. This site has none, so a banner would be asking permission for nothing. We think a banner you cannot meaningfully act on is worse than no banner. If that situation changes, the banner comes first.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Because this site only ever uses strictly-necessary security cookies, blocking them may cause Cloudflare to challenge you more often, but will not otherwise break the site. Guidance for the major browsers:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Tools like aboutcookies.org explain the process in more detail.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add anything that stores or reads data on your device, we will update this page, raise the version number, and — where consent is required — ask for it before that thing runs.

Nothing on this page is legal advice. If a future change adds a script that sets cookies, this inventory must be updated to match.
